On May 20th, a friend of ours was diagnosed with Cancer. Just a few days ago he was deemed a survivor. YEH!
His legacy to "blame his cancer on everything" from losing his keys, to burned out lightbulbs has morphed into a wonderful effort to raise awareness and money for cancer research.
For those that don't know– between now and year end, If you follow Drew Carey (from TV) on Twitter — Drew Carey will donate $1 million dollars to the Livestrong foundation for 1 million followers.

A hash tag in Twitter is a search term and yesterday our CEO released #iheartwallstreet. As of this writing, in less than 24 hours it has 4660 google results. Not because he’s a twit though.
iheartwallstreet is a web documentary video that was picked up by Huffington Post and Business Insider. Thank you to both of them for celebrating our leader.
It sure is cool to hang out with smart people, isn’t it? We hope you enjoy.

Twitter (wiki). A tech phenomenon, but still not profitable.
Actually, it’s not that being ‘not profitable’ is a big deal. Most tech companies are not profitable in the beginning. The problem with Twitter is they still don’t know how to make any money, let alone even some revenue that is ‘not profitable.’
The simple beauty of twitter is it’s open architecture, allowing people to design around it. Case in point, StockTwits, a new host for (stock) market-oriented conversations.
Because StockTwits operates on Twitter’s platform, there is an instant community of heavy hitters already on the site. Definitely worth a look. StockTwits allows you to follow stocks of interest and see real-time reactions throughout the day from other passionate users. And because users are ranked by the community, and history is kept on a user’s comments, you can see who is worth following and who isn’t. Interesting indeed.
As we build our website 2.0, we plan on looking at using this great new medium. In the meantime, feel free to follow our CEO.
